Welcome to Kristin's Page! This is my story...
When I started as a consultant with Pure Romance it was because I was a stay at home Mom who needed supplemental income. I was let go from my last corporate job due to my pregnancy, and because I was so far along and having so much trouble finding a new job, I finished out my pregnancy at home. I never went back to work after my son, Jakob was born because of the financial strain full time day care would put on our family. My husband was working for minimum wage to support the three of us. So times were very tough... and that seemed to be only the beginning. At the age of one, Jakob was diagnosed with Autism. That diagnosis changed my life. I knew then at that point that I could never find peace with the idea of putting my child into a day care system while I worked hours a week at a job I hated with poor income. I knew I had to do something, but what? I knew about this party plan... Pure Romance. I had always heard girls boast that they could make amazing money as consultants, but I always thought it just sounded too good to be true. I sat on the job opportunity for months thinking about it, mostly because I never had the supportive push I needed to just DO IT. Then the night came. I just DID IT, and invested in myself... and I am so glad I did. I have done this job since July of 2008. Now I have something that I can call my own, that I can do from home, while still being with my angel, Jakob. Never again will I miss one of his smiles.
